On behalf of the executive committee of the WOS Annual Conference 2023, we are excited to invite you to join us from December 15th to 17th, 2023, at OM VILAS BENARES in VARANASI, Uttar Pradesh.
This conference provides a unique opportunity for interaction, collaboration, and networking with esteemed faculty and delegates from around the nation and the world, bringing together remarkable women from the ophthalmology field.
Over the course of three days, this conclave will bring together more than 1000 members from across India under the theme "Lead Women Worldwide." It aims to foster integrative approaches towards growth in the medical industry. Some of the highlights of the event include Surgical Skill Enhancement Sessions, Live Surgeries by women surgeons, Tips for Upgrading Practices, Sessions on managing finances and marketing and womens health related sessions.
The conference will feature a wide range of events, including live surgery sessions and our renowned WOS benchmark programs. These programs include "Meet the Mentor, Share the Mentee Experience," where you can interact with leaders in the field who will share their success stories. Additionally, there will be a showcase of state-of-the-art trade exhibitors presenting the latest advancements in ophthalmology. Renowned faculty members from both national and international backgrounds will come together to present their groundbreaking work in oculoplasty, aesthetics, cornea, cataract refractive, glaucoma, and strabismus fields. Moreover, research scholars will be available to guide and support you in documenting your research.
During the conference, we will also have the finale of the popular state chapters' residents program, along with the Ophthalmic Premier League for women, providing an opportunity to make a mark in infotainment. These events will encompass social initiatives and outreach programs.
This conference promises to be an academic extravaganza, featuring the felicitation of eminent professionals in their respective fields. It will foster institutionalized relationship building, cultural exchange, and collaboration platforms, encouraging the reciprocity of challenges.

Registration Cancellation Policy
- Till 15th October 2023- 50% to be returned
- From 1st December 2023 - No refund
- Refund will be made after 1 month of the Conference.
Conference Registration Includes entry into scientific sessions, trade exhibition and lunch on 3 days for 1 delegate and dinner for one delegate.
Abstract Submission
ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Rules for Paper Presentation
- The paper presentation should be in video format exceeding no more than 4 minutes ( PowerPoint converted to video of 4 minutes which will help them to adhere to the timing of presentation. )
- Video should not include audio .
- Presenter must present their paper in person with video playing .
- Presenter must have registered for the conference
- If presenter is pg resident , then they must submit Letter from HOD confirming that they are residents or primary Dnb
- The Paper presentation prelims will be held on 15 Th and 16 th December 2023( Friday ) from 8 am
- The best 5 papers will then enter competitive session which shall be held on 17 Th December 2023 ( Sunday )
Rules for Poster Podium
- The presentation should be in video format exceeding no more than 2 minutes ( PowerPoint converted to video of 2 minutes which will help them to adhere to the timing of presentation. )
- Video should not include audio .
- Presenter must be present for their presentation in person with video playing.
Faculty Topic
- Each Faculty can submit TWO Topics on any two specialties of their choice for consideration for inclusion in WOS Annual Conference 2023 to be held from December 15th to 17th, 2023, at OM VILLAS BENARAS in VARANASI, Uttar Pradesh.
- Deadline for topic submission 1st September 2023. Registration is mandatory to faculty.
